Hello! I'm Pastor Mark Borseth-

Pastor Mark Borseth grew up on a farm outside Decorah, Iowa. Early on, his experiences of church were almost exclusively through the Lutheran church, but God has led him on a journey of getting to know Him better through a diverse group of friendships and experiences with other denominations and streams of the church during his 27 years of ministry.

Pastor Mark got his BS in Chemistry from Winona State University (MN) before his involvement with Lutheran Youth Encounter (Minneapolis MN) for five years after college led him from his original plan to get his PhD in Chemistry to go instead into Ministry. He did his seminary training at Luther Seminary in St Paul, MN and graduated from there with his MDiv in 1997. He got to experience more of the Charismatic/Pentecostal stream of the church by attending Global School of Supernatural Ministry in Mechanicsburg PA in 2007-08. Pastor Mark has served congregations in Beloit WI, Minneapolis MN, Harrisburg PA and Harvest AL before coming to Resurrection Lutheran Church in Yukon OK where he has served since 2012.

Pastor Mark and his wife Betsy have three sons – Nathan, Andrew and Peter.
